The baseball program consists of league play during an approximately 12 week season of games. Games are played on baseball fields throughout San Diego County. The games and rules are similar to those used by Challenger Division teams in Little League. The games are three innings, with each player on each team batting every inning. Pitching may be done by a team's own coach, a helper, or the other team's player or coach. Batters use a batting tee after a certain number of pitches. Umpires are not used. There are no strike outs or walks and all batters score.

Practices are held at the team manager's discretion. Team managers and coaches are needed.

Players are provided with team shirts and baseball caps, team pictures and trophies.

The Registration Fee is $20 plus a Baseball Fee of $50 to cover the additional costs of baseball caps, team shirts, trophies, and team pictures. If an athlete is unable to pay the $20 Registration Fee, financial assistance for the $20 Registration Fee will be made available through SPORTS for Exceptional Athletes. However, to play baseball, athletes must pay the $50 Baseball Fee.
