Our Team

SPORTS for Exceptional Athletes (S4EA) was founded by a group of coaches, parents, volunteers,
and community members who determined that there was a need for a community-based sports
program for athletes with and without developmental disabilities in San Diego County. Many in this
group have 10, 20, or more years of experience serving the needs of people with developmental disabilities.

The S4EA Board of Directors meets on the 2nd Wednesday of every odd numbered month at 6pm at the SPORTS for Exceptional Athletes office (9575 Aero Drive #B, San Diego, CA 92123) as follows in 2012: January 18 (moved from January 11 as S4EA Board Fundraising/Grants Meeting on January 11), March 14, May 9, July 11, September 12, November 14.

The S4EA Executive Committee meets on the 2nd Wednesday of every even numbered month at noon at the SPORTS for Exceptional Athletes office (9575 Aero Drive #B, San Diego, CA 92123) as follows in 2012: February 15 (moved from February 8 because of Winter Games), April 11, June 13, August 8, October 10, December 12.
