Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser:
The S4EA Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser is being held at S4EA/North Shores (9575 Aero Drive, San Diego 92123) on Saturday, April 11th from 8-10am for $10 per person. The breakfast includes pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, milk, juice and coffee. A raffle will be held. The S4EA Athlete Council elections will be held at the Pancake Breakfast for the following S4EA Athlete Council Officers: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Sergeant-At-Arms. S4EA presents 'Bunco' on Friday, May 8th at S4EA/North Shores from 6-8pm. Tickets are $20 - which includes hors d'oeuvres, soft drinks and two rounds of tournament play. SPORTS for Exceptional Athletes is hosting our 8th Annual “A Taste 4 SPORTS” gala fundraiser on Thursday, June 25, 2015 from 6-9pm at the San Diego Hall of Champions (2131 Pan American Plaza, SD 92101) in beautiful Balboa Park featuring food & wine from over 20 restaurants, personal chefs, caterers, & wineries. Mingle with notable local & sports figures, enjoy music by the 'Steph Johnson Trio' & bid on an exquisite array of silent & live auction items. “Guacamole Bowl” Fundraiser:
The 12th Annual Law Enforcement Challenge “Guacamole Bowl” held February 21st at the Balboa Park Club was a great success. The Guacamole Bowl attracted more than 1,500 guests who tasted the guacamole from 20 teams & helped determine who made the best guacamole. The Guacamole Bowl made over $12,000 to benefit SPORTS for Exceptional Athletes. The Guacamole Bowl is co-sponsored by San Diego Park & Recreation-Therapeutic Recreation Services.

S4EA Track Meet: The S4EA Track Meet is scheduled for Saturday, April 25th from 9am-1pm at Sweetwater High School.
S4EA Floor Hockey Tournament: The S4EA Spring Floor Hockey Tournament is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, May 30th from 9am-5pm at SDSU Aztec Recreation Center.
S4EA Swim Meet: The S4EA Swim Meet is scheduled for Saturday, June 20th from 8am-1pm at St. Madeleine Sophie's Center.

Athletes can sign-up for SPORTS Camp Session #1 on May 15-17 or SPORTS Camp Session #2 on August 7-9 at Wildwood Ranch in Ramona which will offer a general program of camp & sports activities as well as swimming and a zip line. Sessions #1 and #2 can accommodate athletes using wheelchairs. Athletes spend 2 nights in cabins and eat 6 camp meals under the guidance of camp counselors/chaperones. Persons with developmental disabilities, families, friends, volunteers, coaches, and supporters are all welcome to join S4EA at the SPORTS Camp.
The SPORTS Camp Registration Fee is $150 per session to help pay for lodging, meals, insurance, supplies, etc. Mail Fee and SPORTS Camp Registration Form as soon as possible to SPORTS for Exceptional Athletes (9575 Aero Drive Suite B, San Diego, CA 92123). S4EA Surf Camp
The S4EA Surf Camp is scheduled for April 17-19 at YMCA Camp Surf in Imperial Beach. Activities include: surfing, archery, skit night, arts & crafts, body boarding, wall climbing, sand sculpting, bouldering wall, ga-ga, basketball, beach volleyball, box hockey, tetherball, and horseshoes. SpokesWomen Ride to Benefit S4EA
SpokesWomen is a 4 women cycling team that will be competing in the Race Across the West. The average age of the team is 60+. One of the riders, Dalana Pursel, has been a strong supporter of SPORTS
for Exceptional Athletes (S4EA) since our inception 7+ years ago and helps run the Guacamole Bowl. The Race Across the West (RAW) is a 860 mile cycling race to be held in June starting in Oceanside and ending in Durango, Colorado. Proceeds from the Race Across the West by the SpokesWomen team will benefit SPORTS
