Pancake Breakfast: The S4EA Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser is being held at the S4EA/North Shores Auditorium (9575 Aero Drive, San Diego 92123) on Saturday, September 20th from 8-10am for $10 per person. The breakfast includes pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, milk, juice and coffee. A raffle will be held. The S4EA Athlete Council is meeting at 10:00am after the Pancake Breakfast to determine upcoming Athlete Council activities. Bring the family and friends to the delicious breakfast and support S4EA. Cycling Tournament: The S4EA Cycling Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, September 27th from 10am-1pm at the Velodrome at Morley Field in Balboa Park.
Bocce & Flag Football Tournament: The S4EA Bocce & Flag Football Tournament is scheduled for Sunday, October 5th from 8:30am-4pm at La Jolla Country Day School.
Bunco Fundraiser: The S4EA Bunco Fundraiser is scheduled for Friday October 10th from 6-8pm at S4EA/North Shores Auditorium (9575 Aero Drive, San Diego 92123). Halloween Costume Party: The S4EA Halloween Costume Party is scheduled for Saturday, October 18th from 5-8pm at Church of Latter Day Saints Mira Mesa.
Fall Floor Hockey Tournament: The S4EA Fall Floor Hockey Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, November 15th from 9am-5pm at the San Diego Convention Center.
Volleyball Tournament: The S4EA Volleyball Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, November 22nd from 9am-5pm at the Balboa Park Activity Center.
Holiday Party: The S4EA Holiday Party is scheduled for Friday, December 5th from 6-8:30pm at S4EA/North Shores Auditorium. "A Taste 4 SPORTS" Fundraiser: SPORTS for Exceptional Athletes hosted our 7th Annual “A Taste 4 SPORTS” gala fundraiser on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at the San Diego Hall of Champions (2131 Pan American Plaza, SD 92101) in beautiful Balboa Park. S4EA honored SDSU Basketball Head Coach, Steve Fisher, as our 'SPORTS Man of the Year'. The SDSU Basketball Team made the Sweet 16 during March Madness at the NCAA Basketball Tournament. Athletes can sign-up for SPORTS Camp Session #3 to be held October 24-26 at Green Oak Ranch in Vista. Session #3 offers a general program of sports (basketball, bocce, bowling, flag football, soccer, softball, volleyball) and traditional camp activities (crafts, hayride, hiking, horseshoes, nature center, talent show), as well as Halloween fun (costumes, trick-or-treat, haunted house). Athletes spend 2 nights in cabins and eat 6 camp meals under the guidance of camp counselors/chaperones. Persons with developmental disabilities, families, friends, volunteers, coaches, and supporters are all welcome to join SPORTS for Exceptional Athletes at the SPORTS Camp.
The SPORTS Camp Registration Fee is $150 per session to help pay for lodging, meals, insurance, patch, supplies, etc. Mail Fee and SPORTS Camp Registration Form as soon as possible to SPORTS for Exceptional Athletes (9575 Aero Drive Suite B, San Diego, CA 92123).
